Aborigines of kerala
Early inhabitants of kerala were ,anthropologicaly belonged to the race ‘negrito’.Kerla aborigins are still here with their physical feature we could indetify .Negritos’, predominant are black coloured ,short stature,curled hair and the shape of the nose etc.
The aborigines of kerala were hunter-gatherer and these people had good knowledge over herbal medicine and special skill to interpret natural phenomen.And they introduced snake-worship to kerala.
Fallowing Negritos ,here came another ethnic group Dravidian from Meditranian region and later Aryans.
Negrito features we could found still in tribal people of kerala, the tribes Kadar ,paniyar ,etc.most of the tribes are distribued over wyanad ,palaghat districts mainly.
