Munnar is famous for its hill stations. The cool breeze makes us cool and keeps us tension free.From the top we could see the scenic beauty of the place. Munnar is also famous for its flower beauty. A special flower called 'Neelakurinji' is grown there. It flowers only once in 12 years. Many tourists are attracted to this region.

The beauty of dams in kerala made it a tourist centre. There are many dams in kerala. One of them is the famous Idukki Arch Dam.  It is built on the periyar river in Idukki district.  It is constructed in between two mountains-Kuravanmala and Kurathimala. The stored water is used in the underground powerhouse in Moolamattom to produce electricity.
Standing at a height of 167.68m,Idukki Dam is the biggest arch dam in Asia. Next is the Malampuzha Dam. It is the biggest irrigation project in kerala with a broad network of canal systems. With the construction of dam agriculture flourished and Palakkad came to be called the 'Rice Bowl of Kerala'. The scenic setting of dam,the reservoir and the garden made Malampuzha one of the foremost tourist sports of Kerala. Next is the Neyyar Dam. It is situated in Thiruvananthapuram District of Kerala.  A popular picnic spot,Neyyar dam has a beautiful reservoir. A Wildlife sanctuary,Crocodile Rehabilitation and Research Centre,Lion Safari Park,Deer Park,Lake Garden etc....... are some of the attractions of Neyyar dam.

Jews dispersed to over world during second century of Christian Era. So they
came to Kerala also. And kerala became one of the few places where Jews could lead a
peaceful life through out centuries.
There is various stories regarding arrival of the Jewish community in Kerala.
However ,this is undisputed thing, all rulers of the time welcome them and do due things
to survive. And at last during 1950s most of them migrated to Israel and to other
European countries . Now here remain mere number of persons. Synagogue are the their
worship places ,now most of them are abandoned and in ruin situation or ruined .Some
of them are under the super vision of the Kerala State Archeology Department.
The Synagogus presently we could see in Kerala are Mattachery Synagogu,
Porur Synagogu and Chendamanglam Synagogu.
Mattachery Synagogue :- located 10 km away from Ernakulam Town ,frequent public
transport buse are available to the place. It is considered as oldest Synagogue to
Commonwealth countries .Built in 16 th century AD.
Synagogue at Chennamangalam :- located at Paravur taluk of Ernakulam district and 35
km way from Ernakulam town. The Synagogu was built in 1614 AD

In Kerala there have only one lake temple. That is situated north of Kerala.
Anathapuram is the name to the place,Ananthapuram lake is the seat to the temple.It is
believed that the original seat to Ananthapadmanabhaswami; theLord Vishnu.
Ananathapuram is located 5 km. away from Kumbla ,Kazargod district
Kerala,The Lake Temlpe of Kerala is also easily get from Manglore,of southern
Karnataka.And 30 km. away from Manathawady, of Wayanad.
The Temple is situated in the middle of the Ananthauram Lake. There have a foot
bridge to connect the temple and the lake side. The Sreekovil houses Sree Padmanbha on
the Adisesha. Adisesha, is the serpent god.The temple has a Chuttamblam, the walls of
the Chuttambalam is beatified with murals.
Another very interesting thing regarding the temple is the Lake with a vegetarian
crocodile ,name as Bavia. They believe the retail is the real guard to temple. Many
mysteries have behind Bavia,the vegetarian crocodile. First of all she is vegetarian
crocodile ,nevr disturb even the fishes of the lake,only take the offerings and food tented
by Temple officials. Another myth is one crocodile must be there from time immoral
one after another not sure how they could reach there, the presnt vegetarian crocodile has
benn here from 1945.
Moreover the place is tranquil and greenly the place is really place to get both
grace of lord and nature.

Waterfalls adds colour to the beauty of kerela. One of the example is the famous Athirappalli waterfalls. It is located 32km to the east of Chalakkudy in Thrissur district. Athirappily is a famous tourist spot. The other is Arikkal waterfalls.

Kovalam beach is the most famous beach in kerala situated 13km from Thiruvananthapuram. Kovalam attracts tourists all over the world since 1930's. Three adjacent crescent beaches are here. The most popular among them is the 'Lighthouse beach' at the southernmost region. Hawwa beach is another attraction for the tourists which is facilitated for sun-bathing and sea-bathing. Several life-guards are appointed for the safety of the people.
